Khondker Talha new Bangladesh Ambassador to France

Khondker M. Talha, currently the director general of East Asia and Pacific Wing (MoFA) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), has been appointed the next Ambassador of Bangladesh in France by the government. 
Talha, a career foreign service officer from Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), Foreign Affairs Cadre, was announced by the MoFA today.
He served in the UN's permanent missions in New York and Geneva for Bangladesh. There he was elected to the Bureau of several UN and international organisations.
He was also sent to London and Tehran missions for Bangladesh.
He was the Chief of Protocol during his first stint at headquarters. He also served in various capacities at South Asia and Multilateral Economic Affairs wings.
Talha has a masters degree from Dhaka University in economics, an MBA from IBA Dhaka University, and another masters of foreign affairs and trade from Monash University in Melbourne.
